After being semi-defunct for a few years now, the Great Neck Historical
Society has now been regrouping and renewing its long-term effort to
preserve and propagate the history of this peninsula.
With such an end in mind, we are working on implementing the long-term
goals,
- To lobby to preserve historic buildings and areas in Great Neck
- To help teach the people of Great Neck, young and old, about our
history
- To use the latest technologies to aid our efforts in doing so
- To create an archival repository, and perhaps even museum, for
the history of Great Neck
